It’s July 24th 2020.

I’m holding my best friend Ronette’s hand, as she takes her final breaths.

I whisper, “I will spread your kindness in this world.”

Little did I know that promise would lead you to me today.

Loosing my best friend made me become my own best friend.

It wasn’t easy, and it didn’t happen overnight.

I spiraled, isolated myself, and realized I needed support.

My go-to mantra, “I am fine really....” no longer worked.

Accepting help and guidance was my first bold step forward.

Coaching with Carin Rockind helped me release guilt, fear of disappointing others, and self-doubt.

I reconnected with both my kind, empathetic nurturing side and my forgotten fierce, bold, adventurous spirit.

With this new clarity, I took the hardest decision of my life, divorcing my husband after 20 years of marriage,

just nine months after Ronette's passing.

It wasn’t just about ending a marriage.

It was about honoring what I truly needed and wanted.

And was about breaking my own heart to heal my soul.

It was about disappointing others and being OK with that.

It was about facing my fears and doing it anyway. Wide

A giant leap to living a fulfilled life, on my own terms.
